Huh? Why detox, but they will continue xyanax?
Only your doctor can answer this question. Do not do anything, do not rely on what they say here. And WTF is taking THC pills to the detoxification? It's just psychological addiction ... sounds very absurd.
Especially since Xanax is a drug far more dangerous than THC. The withdrawal of Xanax is brutally painful. You need to have to rely do Xanax and weed .. (lol. Illusions on the lawn ... sortof).
