Can my cat really lose weight on a high-fat high-protein low-carb food like Innova EVO? - low protein high fat cat food
I have a bit of a dilemma, because I give my cat a high protein food like, but I'm worried about the fat content. My vet told me something to eat low fat. Does anyone have any personal experience with a cat in order to focus on a protein-rich foods rich in fat to lose? Please share your experiences, not only the science behind it, as I am aware. Are there varieties of dried low carb, low fat? Thank you!

One of my son is a protein diet, low in carbohydrates. He did not lose weight on a dry food we have tried and tried, most of them. Even in very limited quantities of food to low-Cal prescription, to either gain or maintain.
I am particularly concerns about the weight because one of the cats, others are caught (which I think is) his cousin who has diabetes at a very early age (two or three) without ever having a weight problem.
I'm in a high-protein, low carbohydrate low glycemic index foods moist and now stands at a healthy weight for the first time in the year. My parents have recently begun, the same approach with her mother and a strain to try (which had similar problems with their weight), and both are finally beginning to lose.
Because every cat has its own metabolism (as in humans), this approach does not succeed for all cats, but it certainly was for us.
